When you need a proper installer

  1. 1

A new unit for a room or flat

You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.

  2. 2

Not sure where the outdoor unit goes

In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.

  3. 3

A past install that went wrong

Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.

Who it's for

  • Moving into a new flat that needs AC

We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.

    Ask on WhatsApp
  • Fitting AC in a shop or office

We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send a photo

WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.

  2. 2

    Agree positions and route

On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.

  3. 3

    Fit and vacuum

We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.

  4. 4

    Start-up and handover

We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.

What sets this district apart

Al Rahmaniyah is a modern residential district in the east with new villas and apartment blocks on organised, spacious streets. Buildings here are newer than southern districts, outdoor spaces and roofs are better available, allowing more flexibility in positioning outdoor units and copper runs. The district has better urban planning and organised electrical connections, but rapid expansion and new construction demand careful study to avoid conflicts with other systems and ensure proper water drainage.

Al Rahmaniyah sits in east Jeddah, a modern residential area of contemporary villas and apartments on wide organised streets.

Most outdoor units in Al Rahmaniyah are placed on safe, spacious roofs or clear exterior walls, thanks to good outdoor space availability.

The AC setup in Al Rahmaniyah

  1. 1

Split unit on safe, spacious roof in villas and apartments

Roofs in Al Rahmaniyah are typically safe and relatively spacious, allowing secure outdoor unit mounting without major constraints.

  2. 2

Medium to long copper run from roof to room

Distance from roof to the conditioned room may be medium or long due to villa and block size.

  3. 3

Split on exterior wall in some small flats and villas

Some smaller flats may prefer outdoor unit mounting on an exterior wall rather than the roof.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Rahmaniyah

  1. 1

Pinpoint the exact outdoor unit location on the roof

Choose your preferred roof location based on sun and wind exposure, and ensure the spot is safe and clear of obstacles.

  2. 2

Confirm a dedicated, organised electrical circuit exists

Modern electrical systems in Al Rahmaniyah are usually organised, so confirm a dedicated circuit exists for the unit or have it checked when we arrive.

  3. 3

Alert us to the location of any drainage or utility systems

If there are drainage systems or other pipes on or near the roof, tell us so we avoid them and plan copper lines correctly.

FAQ

Questions about Split AC installation

Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?

Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.

Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?

New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.

Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?

Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.

Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?

It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.

What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?

We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.

The new villas here have smart electrical systems, does this affect AC installation?

Smart systems require respect for existing connections and organised circuits, so we study the electrical setup before installation and ensure safe, proper AC connections.

The streets here are regular and wide, does this make installation easier?

Yes, wide streets and spacious outdoor areas provide better team and equipment access, making installation faster with safety and efficiency.

Modern buildings here have complex drainage systems, does AC drainage need special care?

Yes, we study existing systems and ensure the AC drainage is connected safely without conflicting with other systems.

The east side may be hotter in summer, does the AC need special design?

That depends on flat orientation and sun exposure, which we assess during the visit to determine the best outdoor unit location and appropriate unit size.
