When you need a proper installer

  1. 1

A new unit for a room or flat

You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.

  2. 2

Not sure where the outdoor unit goes

In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.

  3. 3

A past install that went wrong

Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.

Who it's for

  • Moving into a new flat that needs AC

We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.

    Ask on WhatsApp
  • Fitting AC in a shop or office

We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send a photo

WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.

  2. 2

    Agree positions and route

On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.

  3. 3

    Fit and vacuum

We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.

  4. 4

    Start-up and handover

We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.

What sets this district apart

Al Shuwaidi is a relatively modern neighbourhood with spacious villas and low to mid-rise blocks, each with ample front and side gardens. The regular street layout and uniform house design make installation easier because outdoor units can be mounted clearly and away from obstacles, with copper runs more straightforward. However, exposure to northern winds and dust can affect the outdoor unit's performance if it is not positioned in a sheltered spot.

Al Shuwaidi is in north Jeddah, a neighbourhood of modern villas and blocks with regular street layout and spacious gardens.

Most installations here need a short to medium copper run (3 to 8 metres), and outdoor units are typically mounted on east-facing walls or in corners sheltered from northern winds.

The AC setup in Al Shuwaidi

  1. 1

Split unit in spacious villa with front and back gardens

Al Shuwaidi villas allow the outdoor unit to be mounted in a back or side garden away from the front view and direct winds.

  2. 2

    Multi-unit splits in residential blocks

Blocks in Al Shuwaidi use individual splits per flat, with outdoor units on the east-facing façade or roof.

  3. 3

Short to medium copper runs with strong insulation

Distances here are relatively short, but winds and dust demand strong insulation and secure fastening of the copper along the entire run.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Shuwaidi

  1. 1

Choose outdoor unit location away from direct wind

Tell us where you want the outdoor unit mounted, preferably on an east-facing wall or in a corner sheltered from northern winds.

  2. 2

Ensure the team can reach the garden and outdoor location

If the outdoor unit is in the back garden, make sure pathways are clear and side gates are unlocked before installation day.

  3. 3

Prepare indoor unit location and check electrical supply

Choose the room and wall location for the indoor unit, and confirm a safe electrical outlet nearby or prepare the cable run from the main board.

FAQ

Questions about Split AC installation

Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?

Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.

Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?

New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.

Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?

Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.

Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?

It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.

What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?

We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.

Northern winds are strong in Al Shuwaidi, how do you protect the outdoor unit?

We choose a sheltered location on an east-facing wall or in a corner of the villa away from direct wind, and mount it firmly on a stable bracket.

Al Shuwaidi has large villas and gardens, how do you handle long distances?

Distances here are usually short to medium, but if the villa is very large, we plan the copper route carefully to avoid sharp bends and ensure the drain slopes correctly.

Dust and sand in Al Shuwaidi may clog the outdoor unit, do you clean it after installation?

We install it completely clean and vacuum the line before start-up, but we recommend you check the outdoor filter monthly and clean it if needed.

Power is at the villa's main board but the outdoor unit goes far away, can you run the cable?

Yes, we run the power cable alongside the copper with safe insulation, and the distance depends on the unit's capacity, which we assess at the first visit.
