Fitted right first time
Split AC installation in Al Wahah
In Al Wahah, east Jeddah, split installation requires care with limited placement options and ventilation in small gardens and narrow balconies. Alrabih's team selects the optimal location, runs insulated copper efficiently, and vacuums the line before start-up.

When you need a proper installer
- 1
A new unit for a room or flat
You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.
- 2
Not sure where the outdoor unit goes
In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.
- 3
A past install that went wrong
Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.
Who it's for
Moving into a new flat that needs AC
We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.
Ask on WhatsAppFitting AC in a shop or office
We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

What the installation covers
- Site check and unit positions
- Insulated copper, sealed wall core
- Drain line with correct fall
- Vacuum and leak test
- Start-up test with you present
How we work
How we work
- 1
Send a photo
WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.
- 2
Agree positions and route
On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.
- 3
Fit and vacuum
We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.
- 4
Start-up and handover
We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.
A careful install or a rushed one?
| Alrabih | The usual way | |
|---|---|---|
| Vacuum | Pumped before start-up | Often skipped |
| Copper | Mueller, fully insulated | Patchy insulation |
| Drain | Falls, so no drips | Water down the wall |
| Outdoor unit spot | Airy and easy to reach | Wherever it fits |
| Wall opening | Sealed tight | Dust gets through |

What sets this district apart
Al Wahah is a relatively dense residential district with closely built homes and apartment blocks tighter than Umm Hablain, with very small gardens and narrow balconies, and often no large available roofs. This severely limits outdoor unit placement options, requiring a location away from neighbours with adequate ventilation. Shorter distances reduce copper needed, but ensuring water does not leak on neighbours and securing good airflow make precision installation critical.
Al Wahah lies in east Jeddah, a dense residential district with closely built homes and very limited outdoor space.
Outdoor units in Al Wahah are usually mounted on narrow exterior walls or very limited balconies, rarely on safe and clear roofs.
The AC setup in Al Wahah
- 1
Single split with outdoor unit on wall
Most compact homes in Al Wahah take one split unit with the outdoor unit on the narrow exterior wall or window.
- 2
Outdoor unit on wall or window with special brackets
Lack of roof space makes walls and windows the only option, so we use strong metal brackets that absorb vibration.
- 3
Very short copper with very thick insulation
Short distances reduce copper needed, but very thick insulation is essential to minimize noise and vibration transmission.

FAQ
Questions about Split AC installation
Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?
Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.
Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?
New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.
Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?
Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.
Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?
It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.
What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?
We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.
My home is very small and outdoor space is almost non-existent, is a split possible?
Yes, split installation is possible even in very tight spaces. We find a location on an exterior wall, window, or even within a narrow balcony, after checking the site safety and ventilation.
Homes are very close and I worry about noise, can you reduce it?
We mount the unit on vibration-absorbing brackets and place it away from windows. Thick pipe insulation and secure mounting significantly reduce noise.
My balcony is tiny and the unit cannot fit, what is the solution?
The unit can be mounted on the exterior wall beside the balcony or on a sealed window. We choose the best location that allows good airflow and safety.
The distance is very short between indoor and outdoor, does this cause problems?
A short distance is actually helpful as it reduces copper length and heat loss. However, tight insulation is essential to minimize noise and vibration that can transfer easily over short distances.
