When you need a proper installer

  1. 1

A new unit for a room or flat

You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.

  2. 2

Not sure where the outdoor unit goes

In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.

  3. 3

A past install that went wrong

Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.

Who it's for

  • Moving into a new flat that needs AC

We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.

    Ask on WhatsApp
  • Fitting AC in a shop or office

We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send a photo

WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.

  2. 2

    Agree positions and route

On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.

  3. 3

    Fit and vacuum

We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.

  4. 4

    Start-up and handover

We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.

What sets this district apart

Prince Abdulmajeed features relatively modern architecture with upscale villas and contemporary apartment blocks. Spacious villas and thoughtfully designed flats offer good flexibility for runs and outdoor units. Intense heat and moderate humidity demand precision in insulation and drain handling to prevent condensation and mould. Many newer homes here were built with AC in mind, easing installation but requiring respect for pre-existing lines and ducts.

Prince Abdulmajeed lies in south Jeddah, a recently developed district with upscale villas and contemporary residential blocks.

Most newer homes here have pre-prepared ducts or walls for runs, making professional copper and wire concealment easier.

The AC setup in Prince Abdulmajeed

  1. 1

Separate split unit in flat or villa

Most homes here need a separate split unit, flat or villa, due to contemporary architectural freedom.

  2. 2

Outdoor unit on roof or shaded balcony

Outdoor units are mounted in well-ventilated, partially shaded spots to boost efficiency in intense heat.

  3. 3

Copper hidden in pre-prepared ducts and safe drain

Pre-existing ducts allow professional copper and wire concealment, with the drain sloping safely toward the outlet.

FAQ

Questions about Split AC installation

Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?

Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.

Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?

New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.

Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?

Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.

Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?

It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.

What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?

We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.

My villa has contemporary design with pre-installed ducts, how do you work with those?

We assess existing ducts first and use them if suitable for copper and drain routing. If they are insufficient, we add what is needed carefully.

The building is very new with central AC planned, can I still install a split?

Yes, a separate split can be installed. We ensure no conflict with other systems and compliance with building rules.

Humidity is moderate but heat is intense, how does that affect installation?

Intense heat requires excellent copper insulation and placing the outdoor unit in a shaded or well-ventilated spot.

Do you inspect the copper and wiring before start-up?

Yes, we fully vacuum the copper line with a vacuum pump and test the wiring and connections before switching on.
