When duct quality makes the difference

  1. 1

    Duct losing cold air

An open seam or an unsealed joint loses cold air before it reaches the room. We close every seam with Foster sealant in the workshop before shipping, so the seal does not depend on site work alone.

  2. 2

    Condensation wetting the ceiling

In Jeddah's humid air any bare metal surface sweats and drips onto the ceiling or damages the unit insulation. We wrap with Kimmco or Armaflex at the thickness the site calls for.

  3. 3

A project with many duct runs

A villa or commercial building needs main trunks, branches and plenums in several sizes. We make sections in the workshop numbered to the site plan, so the hanging crew assembles without cutting or adjusting.

Who it's for

  • Replacing your villa's AC and need new ductwork

We make supply and return trunks and plenums to your villa's dimensions, insulated and numbered, ready for the hanging crew without any on-site cutting.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send sizes or drawings

Send us the duct drawing or a list of section sizes. If sizes are not fixed yet, we agree a site survey before production starts.

  2. 2

    Review sizes and sheet gauge

We check each section's dimensions and pick the right sheet thickness for the duct size, then confirm quantities with you before cutting begins.

  3. 3

    Fabricate, seal and insulate

We cut and fold the G90 galvanised sheet, lock the seams with Foster sealant, and wrap each section with Kimmco or Armaflex insulation in the workshop before shipment.

  4. 4

    Number and deliver

We mark each section with its position and dimension from the site plan, so the hanging team identifies every piece without confusion and starts work on arrival.

Some of our work

Ductwork, rooftop units and diffusers, from work we've completed in Jeddah.

  • Galvanized rectangular duct trunk with branch takeoffs and round diffusers, hung from a black ceiling, a Carrier unit visible behind — interior finishing stage.
  • Round diffusers and a spiral duct trunk in a tiled stairwell service shaft.
  • Rooftop ductwork and an exhaust fan, with Jeddah buildings in the background.
  • Rooftop packaged AC units with rectangular duct transitions, city buildings behind.
  • Insulated rooftop duct run beside a packaged unit, a warehouse roof in the background.
  • A grid of round diffusers in an open-plan office ceiling, mid-construction.
  • An insulated rooftop duct elbow, against a mountainous backdrop.
  • Large insulated ductwork running along a factory ceiling, with workers visible below.
  • A yellow round diffuser mid-installation, with spiral duct and a suspended ceiling grid.
  • Duct insulation wrap in progress on a construction site, bare duct still exposed.
  • A black-painted duct trunk with round diffusers and track lighting, in a finished retail interior.
  • An indoor AHU unit connected to round ductwork in a mechanical plant room, exposed concrete ceiling.

Don't see your district?Message us. We most likely cover it.

What sets this district apart

Breiman is spread across a wider area with mid-size villas, modern residential projects and shops on regular streets. On-site cut ducts leave gaps that bleed cold air and allow moisture to condense on inner surfaces, which hits cooling efficiency and raises running costs. Workshop-made ducts with full sealing and complete insulation preserve cold along the entire run and cut energy use noticeably.

Breiman is in the east, a district of modern villas, residential buildings and commercial projects laid out in regular streets.

Most residential and commercial projects here run central AC systems with metal ducts, and need precisely dimensioned manufactured ducts to distribute air efficiently across multiple floors.

The AC setup in Breiman

  1. 1

    Sealed supply and return ducts

We manufacture supply and return ducts with full seals at every joint and thick foam insulation, to prevent cold air leakage in Breiman's residential and commercial projects.

  2. 2

    Insulated plenums

Plenums are fully insulated to minimize cooling loss and protect surfaces from moisture condensation in the humid climate.

  3. 3

    Numbered ducts ready for installation

Each duct is numbered to the project drawings, and we deliver them with installation notes to speed up the work on site and avoid mistakes.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Breiman

  1. 1

Have project drawings and dimensions ready

Send us the central AC drawings and exact dimensions for all duct runs and plenums so we manufacture them with complete precision in the workshop.

  2. 2

    Specify the duct connection points

Tell us where the indoor unit outlet, main plenums and final returns are located, so we make the ducts in the correct length and size.

  3. 3

    Confirm delivery and installation timing

Agree with us on when to receive the finished ducts and start installing them on site, so other project steps stay on track.

FAQ

Questions about AC duct manufacturing

How do you make sure the duct does not leak air at the seams?

We close the long seams with a tight mechanical lock as the sheet is formed, then seal every seam and every joint between sections with Foster sealant before insulating. Sections leave the workshop with matching flanges that tighten evenly when hung, because any small gap in cold duct means lost air and a point where condensation forms.

Does the duct arrive ready to hang, or is it assembled on site?

Sections arrive fabricated, insulated, sealed and numbered to the route drawing, so the fitters know where each piece goes without cutting or altering on site. What is left on site is joining the sections, fixing them to the hangers and connecting the unit and outlets, which shortens the work above the ceiling.

Do you make plenums for cassette and cabinet units?

Yes, we fabricate plenums for both types. A cassette unit plenum is measured to match the unit's outlet frame exactly so air reaches the branch runs without leaking at the connection. A cabinet unit plenum is made to carry both the supply and return paths if the design calls for it. Both types are insulated with Kimmco or Armaflex and sealed with Foster sealant before they leave the workshop.

Can you manufacture duct for a large commercial project?

Yes. The workshop is equipped to fabricate large supply and return trunk runs suited to commercial, government and industrial buildings. Each section is made to the project drawings, numbered and delivered ready to hang after insulation and sealing. When engineering drawings are available, the technical team reviews them before fabrication starts to confirm that the duct dimensions fit the ceiling voids on site.

Why are the duct sections insulated in the workshop before delivery?

The duct carries cold air through a ceiling void that may be hot and humid. Without external insulation, water vapour condenses on the cold sheet and drips onto the false ceiling or the goods below. So each section is wrapped in Kimmco or Armaflex in our workshop and every edge and joint is sealed with Foster sealant before delivery.

Why are workshop-made ducts better than cutting on site?

On-site cut ducts leave small gaps that leak cold air and reduce efficiency. Workshop-made ducts are fully sealed at every joint and insulated, so they preserve cold throughout the run and cut electricity use.

Do manufactured ducts suit villa and residential projects in Breiman?

Yes, we make supply, return and plenum ducts to your exact project dimensions, whether villa, residential building or shop, numbered and ready to hang.

Does Jeddah's high humidity affect metal ducts?

Yes, humidity causes moisture to condense on poorly insulated ducts. We fully insulate all ducts to prevent condensation and protect the inner and outer surfaces from corrosion and rust.

Do manufactured ducts need extra electrical connections on site?

No, manufactured ducts are sealed and insulated metal pipes only; they need no electrical connections. We deliver them ready to install and connect to the project.
