When you need a proper installer

  1. 1

A new unit for a room or flat

You have bought the unit, or are about to, and want it fitted once, not to find a refrigerant leak or water on the floor a few weeks later. Getting it right first time saves you all of that.

  2. 2

Not sure where the outdoor unit goes

In Jeddah flats the choice is usually the roof, the balcony or the facade. We pick a spot where the condenser gets enough air, a technician can reach it for servicing, and neither noise nor drain water bothers the neighbours.

  3. 3

A past install that went wrong

Weak cooling since day one, water running down the wall, a loud indoor unit. These are usually installation mistakes, not faults in the unit, and our installation is built step by step to avoid them.

Who it's for

  • Moving into a new flat that needs AC

We plan every unit position and copper route in one go, so the whole flat ends up neat and consistent.

    Ask on WhatsApp
  • Fitting AC in a shop or office

We place the units so cool air reaches the entrance and the work area, and arrange outdoor units and drains to suit the shopfront and the building's rules.

How we work

How we work

  1. 1

    Send a photo

WhatsApp us a photo of the room, where the outdoor unit might go and your district, and we tell you what the job needs before the visit.

  2. 2

    Agree positions and route

On site, the technician agrees the unit positions and the copper and drain route with you before drilling any wall.

  3. 3

    Fit and vacuum

We mount both units, run and insulate the copper, then vacuum the line with a pump and check the joints before releasing the refrigerant held in the outdoor unit.

  4. 4

    Start-up and handover

We run the unit, measure the air coming out, check the drain flows, then leave the room clean and show you the remote and how to clean the filter.

What sets this district apart

Al Wafa is a developing district with small villas and multi-storey flats mixed together, wider streets, and small gardens between buildings. Construction here is newer and less dense than Al Manar, offering relatively wider outdoor space per unit. Small villas may need one or two units, flats one or two depending on size. Eastern dust and heat demand strong line insulation, and solar thermal expansion must be factored into the design.

Al Wafa lies in East Jeddah and features a mix of small villas and modern residential blocks with relatively wide streets.

Most small villas and flats here need one or two split units, with outdoor units on small roofs, balconies, or limited garden space.

The AC setup in Al Wafa

  1. 1

One or two split units for small villas

Small Al Wafa villas typically need one unit for main living areas, or two if the villa has separate wings or zones.

  2. 2

Medium flats with single or dual splits

Medium Al Wafa flats typically need one split unit, or two if the flat is particularly spacious.

  3. 3

Outdoor units on small roofs or limited garden space

Outdoor space here is slightly wider than Al Manar but limited compared to Al Rimal, so units sit on small roofs or garden corners.

Before the visit

Before our visit in Al Wafa

  1. 1

    Assess roof and garden space

Check roof and garden size and available corners for the outdoor unit, and send clear photos from different angles for location assessment.

  2. 2

    Clear an indoor-to-outdoor access path

Remove obstacles from the villa's or flat's interior passages to ease safe transport of installation equipment and copper tubing from indoors to outdoors.

  3. 3

Confirm the outdoor base before installation

If mounting on a roof or garden, confirm the base is solid and suitable, and tell us whether soil is sandy or concrete so we choose the right foundation type.

FAQ

Questions about Split AC installation

Will you install a unit I bought elsewhere?

Yes, we install units you have bought yourself. Before the visit we ask the model, its capacity and where both units will go, so we know the copper length. If you have not bought one yet, we are an authorised distributor for Carrier, YORK, General, Midea, Gree and Smart Gold and can help you choose.

Why does the line need vacuuming before start-up?

New pipes hold air and moisture, and Jeddah's humid air adds more. Mixed with refrigerant, they weaken cooling and strain the compressor over time. We pull them out with a vacuum pump, watch that the reading holds so we know the line is tight, and only then release the refrigerant.

Can the outdoor unit be far from the room?

Yes, within the manufacturer's limits for line length and height difference. We use Mueller copper in runs of up to 30 metres without welded joints, so there are fewer joints that could leak, and the survey shows whether a long run needs extra refrigerant.

Can you hide the copper and cables in the wall?

It depends on the house. In a new build or during finishing works, the copper can run inside the wall before plastering. In a lived-in home we use neat plastic trunking in the wall colour. We show you the better option for your home at the survey, before any work starts.

What if the outside wall cannot carry the unit?

We check the wall before fixing anything, because some facades are clad in stone or panels that cannot take the weight. Then we set the unit on a floor stand on the roof or balcony, or on a bracket anchored to the concrete itself, not the cladding, so it does not shake loose.

How many split units does my small villa need?

This depends on the number of rooms, lounge, and roof and wall insulation. Most small villas here need one or two units. We send a team to measure and assess your needs, then send an accurate quote via WhatsApp.

My garden is very small, where do you place the outdoor unit?

We assess the garden size, roof, and external walls. If the garden is very tight, we may mount the unit on the roof or on a safe external wall after careful inspection and your approval.

My balcony faces the sun directly all day, does this harm the outdoor unit?

Yes, direct sun increases the outdoor unit and tubing temperature. We apply strong insulation and may choose an alternative location or install a sun shade if possible to reduce thermal stress.

Will the long copper run between my indoor and outdoor units leak after two or three years?

No, if installation is precise, tubing is properly insulated, and the line is fully vacuumed of air. We follow all these steps, and the high-grade copper we use lasts many years. If any leaks appear after installation, tell us immediately for assessment and repair.
